The challenge
An actor with a name still has to sell the idea. A pitch deck is the thing in the room when he is not.
Stan Nze needed creative across three quite different formats: a pitch deck that could carry a film to financiers, designs and a backdrop for the stage play Twilight, and a complete print programme for the Kids Can Act project — posters, brochures, timetables and a rules booklet that children would actually read.
Working actors do not have review cycles. Between set, press and rehearsal, the brief has to be understood once and delivered.
What we did
- Built the pitch deck as a film, not a documentLogline, synopsis, characters, look and feel, references — sequenced the way a financier reads, with the visual world of the film doing the arguing rather than paragraphs about it.
- Designed the Kids Can Act programme for two audiences at onceChildren have to want to pick it up; parents have to trust it. The poster, the timetable and the rules booklet share one system and change register between them.
- Delivered without supervisionHis words, not ours. The point of understanding the brief properly the first time is that the client can go and do their job.
The work
“All the creative materials, the designs, the backdrop — with little or no supervision, man, they deliver. As and when due, on time, before time.”
The outcome
The strongest evidence on this page is not a number we chose — it is a client who went on camera unprompted to say it. That testimonial sits on our homepage, and this is the work it refers to. Watch it.
